TAEA High School VASE

Present artwork at a regional VASE event for possible selection to State VASE.

Who it’s for: Eligible Texas students in grades 9–12

Your first step

Ask a sponsoring art teacher to use the current High School VASE registration and rules.

Open official guide ↗

The route

  1. 1
    Teacher registration

The sponsoring teacher prepares eligible student entries and required documentation.

  2. 2
    Regional evaluation

Students present artwork for regional judging.

  3. 3
    Area selection

Eligible top-rated work receives a separate judging round to select State entries.

  4. 4
    State VASE

Selected artwork is evaluated and exhibited at the State Event.

Before you commit: A regional Rating IV does not automatically advance to State; Junior VASE and TEAM have separate programs.
